In 2008, DVLA Personalised Registrations requested photographers to send their favourite motorcycle image. I set the photograph above of my old CB1300S by the Forth Bridge. It was one of those days when the light just started to become perfect, the sun setting and the blue sky appeared as if by magic. The bike is really the star of this image as the red frame mirros the Forth Bridge ironwork perfectly, making the image really come together.

I was delighted to be selected UK & Overall Winner in the 2008 DVLA Personalised Registration Bike Vista Competition. The image was displayed at the Birmingham International Bike Show in Nov 2008 and used for a DVLA calendar and various press articles.
